The Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries, Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, inaugurated a newly constructed 50-seater Sulabh Shauchalaya Complex, which also includes bathroom facilities, at the Fisheries Complex, Cutbona, Salcete, Goa.
He was joined by the Hon’ble MLA of Velim Constituency, Engr. Cruz Silva, Zilla Panchayat Member for Velim, Shri Gregorio Fernandes, Sarpanch of Village Panchayat Velim, Smt. Ludovina Cardozo, Secretary for Fisheries, Shri Prasanna Acharya, IAS, the Director of Fisheries, and the Executive Director of ONGC.
The facility is aimed at improving sanitation infrastructure for the benefit of the local fishing community and visitors to the Cutbona Fisheries Complex. The project is a testament to the collaborative efforts of various government bodies and ONGC, promoting hygiene and public welfare in coastal regions.
