The Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries, Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, inaugurated the newly constructed 20-Seater Toilet Block along with a 40 KLD Sewage Treatment Plant at Malim Jetty, Bardez.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Shri. Rohan Khaunte, Vice Chairman of GSIDC, Shri Kedar Naik, Zilla Panchayat Member (Penha de Franca), Smt. Kavita Naik, Sarpanch of Penha de Franca, Shri Swapnil Chodankar, and the Director of Fisheries, Dr. Shamila Monteiro.
This initiative aims to enhance sanitation infrastructure and support sustainable waste management at the jetty, contributing to a cleaner and more hygienic environment for both local stakeholders and visitors.
