An awareness session on sanitation and hygiene for boat owners was conducted on 18th August 2025 at the Fisheries Society Hall, Cutbona Jetty, jointly organized by the Directorate of Fisheries and PHC Balli. The session aimed to educate boat owners and crew members on the importance of maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation practices to prevent communicable diseases. As part of the initiative, medical kits and IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials were distributed to the participants.
