On the occasion of Narali Poornima, Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries, along with the Mayor of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), the Secretary of Fisheries, and the Director of Fisheries, launched the following initiatives the official Fish Trail, Mukhyamantri Nustekar Mazya Yevjan scheme, pamphlets outlining the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for screening of crew members and pamphlets highlighting the Benefits of Installing Transponders on Fishing Vessels.

On the occasion of Narali Poornima, at a function organized by the Directorate of Fisheries, the Hon’ble Minister for Fisheries, Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, addressed the gathering of fishermen.
During the event, the Hon’ble Minister distributed sanction letters for various departmental schemes to the eligible beneficiaries, recognizing their contribution to the fishing community and promoting the welfare initiatives undertaken by the department.
